To ensure our fellow revellers, the school and our neighbours have the best of times, we have a few simple tips for the day...
The day will kick off at midday on Saturday 22nd July and will be done and dusted by midnight. Everyone with a valid ticket will get a wristband on the day, so you can go on and off the site.
Food and drink
There will be a variety of food stalls on site as well as a bar, tuck shop and tearooms. You can bring a picnic but we would ask you not to bring any alcohol or glass onto the site (as we would hate broken glass on our field) and please use the bins provided.
Parking will be available for those with mobility issues in the school car park.
Disabled access toilets are available within the school and on the field.
The site is small and terrain is a mix of tarmac and grass, and is mainly flat (playing fields).
Carers tickets can be refunded - just email us for details and for any special requirements.
Things to bring
We would like to suggest you bring sun hats, sun cream and money for ice cream, but being England in July we have to also suggest you bring warm jumpers and waterproofs!
You are welcome to bring:
- Camping chairs
- Picnic blankets
- Party spirit
We would ask that you do not bring:
- Glass containers
- Bad behaviour
Please no BYO or any illegal substances!
There will be a designated offsite smoking area so please, no smoking in any other areas.
Care and safety
Toilet facilities will be available in the school and portaloos will be on the field.
Baby change facilities will be available in the school.
We ask that all young ones have a contact number written on their wristband so that we can contact you if they become lost.
The site is fully enclosed by a high fence and there are only two marshalled entrances in use.
We will have a lost children and property point at the pedestrian entrance to the site.
Please note that all children under 14 must have a parent/carer will them onsite at all times, and to enter and exit the site.
St John Ambulance will be present on site at all times for any mishaps and medical queries.
Please help us make Farnstock fun and safe for everyone by ensuring your kids are supervised.
Use of imagery
By attending Farnstock you are agreeing to the use of your and your family's images in our event publicity, both locally and online. Please contact us to discuss any concerns.
If you would like to volunteer on the day, please get in touch with us and we'll make it worth your while!
Please have an amazing day! Enjoy the music, eat great food and revel in good company...
